PLANTCOLOR™ pigments are derived from deeply colored roots like beets, radishes, and purple potatoes. These plants are naturally rich in anthocyanins and betalains, antioxidant compounds that give them their vibrant hues.
PLANTCOLOR™ means exactly that, no iron oxides, no carmine (insect-derived pigment), and no synthetic FD&C or D&C dyes.
When you apply this balm, you’re truly wearing antioxidant-rich vegetable extracts. You may notice their natural aroma and subtle flavor. We’ve added a delicate cherry-orange-vanilla scent, a touch of organic stevia for light sweetness, and a hint of citric acid to help preserve the plant pigments. The formula is enriched with organic cacao butter, coconut oil, and Montana-grown organic safflower oil for nourishing care.
