This ingredient [Butyloctyl Salicylate] is not an approved sunscreen ingredient by any regulatory agency worldwide. It is a solvent used in sunscreens to help disperse the sunscreen ingredients so they spread more smoothly. It is cheap so it’s in a lot of mass market products.
Response from Wendy Asplund - Epionce Account Executive, Midwest, on Daily Shield Tinted SPF 50
The unique Epionce Daily Shield Tinted SPF 50 formulation combines botanical ingredients rich in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, plus broad-spectrum UV protection. This protects against damaging inflammation, prevents premature skin aging, and protects skin from pollution and cancer-causing UV rays. It also provides protection from Infrared Radiation (IR) and High Energy Visible Light (HEVL) which includes blue light from our computer/phone screens which is a lower spectrum of HEVL.
